Had a nice trip today from LapuLapu over the mountain (suprisingly cold up there today) to Balabam, turn south to Toledo, carried on south to check out if the there is a road to Barili.
After Toledo it is a concrete road, kind of bumpy (but who cares about the bumps when riding a KTM), road turned into dirt road...(still, who cares), overtaking some 4X4 trucks (they made big eyes), carried on through the bumps, finelly some asphalt road but still bumpy, overtaking some multicabs, more concrete roads, more asphalt and ended on the main road between CarCar and Barili.

Kind of a cool trip, seems like noone up there have ever seen a white man, wearing bodyarmer (robocop lookalike), full helmet and riding a big bike with slicks.
I can read the lips on the chicks go "WOOOW!" while they show the white teeth and beautifull dark eyes...and they give me some smiles that make me go "hmmmmmm!"
I better keep the helmet on so they dont see my age....

My bike (950 smr) have now 11500 km, and finelly the bike and me is "one".
I`m used to sports bikes and tried to run this smr as a sports bike with various of luck, but now I get it. Now "we" understand eachother and even on dirtroads we do fairly good even with 180 slick on the rear wheel.

I think this is the best bike I ever had and no other bikes has given me such a pleasure riding and give me so many wonderful trips.

I can already see the big smile on your face! Thats the KTM SMILE!!! Would you be there on March 4? Maybe you can show me that route and wow the folks with 2 KTM's this time around 

It was a combination of a KTM smile and a "I feel attractive to the pretty chics" smile...:-)
But notice...I never removed my helmet...:-P

What is it all about?

March 4-7 is the 16th NATIONAL FEDERATION of MOTORCYCLE CLUB CONVENTION. maybe over 1,000 Big Bike riders from all over the country will come to CEBU for a weekend of camaraderie and stories. And of course: BEER!

Our group the On Any Sunday Riders Club of Davao will be the host for the 17th Convention which will be held in Davao on 2011.

There will be a convention ride through the Trans Central Hiway on Saturday toward Balamban which I may join.

Do you have to be a member of a club to join?
So saturday the 6. will be day for riding?

What is a big bike, anything above 125cc? :-)

Our group will be staying at the Alpa City Suites in Mandaue City from March 4-6; we taker off on the 7th for Davao through dumaguete-ozamis-CDO.

I`m planing to leave for a Thailand trip with my wife the 27. february with return 03. march.
I need to get my balikbayan visa so I dont have to struggle with emigration every second month...:-)

I will see if I can go to Mandaue on friday afternoon and meet you for a talk...and I bring a rag to clean of your drooling...;-)
