Hi fellow motard freaks.

Im planning on converting my 360 to a motard. The only problem I can think of will be the spokes.
I recently had to respoke and re-rim a 95yz250 2stroke and found the spokes they replaced were pretty thin.
The 'katy' has nice big thick spokes and i hopr to keep the rims with thick spokes.
One problem they had down in cebu was being able to bend the thicker spokes as they had a 90 degree angle at the spoke eye.
are thicker straight spokes available in the Philippines? suitable for motard?
the other question was why dont more people use 18" rims rather than 17"? is this due to more tyres in 17" being available?

all the nice tyres are in 17s -18s were used in the 80s as road tires.
try to find spokes at any local shop in cebu im sure they would have those, go to a tricycle shop who laces rims im sure they can do that!!
