The first KTM is the hardest, miracles get easier the second time around! Believe it or not I never imagined owning one, The Duke2 (1st dream bike) was in my screen saver for so very long - I would even visit the DREAMBIKES display in FILINVEST MALL when is was still there! Yes THAT LONG AGO! I actually GAVE UP on that dream and was ready to settle for a Suzuki DRZ-400 when I met TOTI and he set me straight! sold me a pre-owned 2005 Duke2 for not too much more than the DRZ. hehehe I thought that was the "keeper" bike. Then the KTM BASTARDS created the SMT!!! That one was on my cellphone and my laptop wallpaper but the stars aligned somehow! Now I hope those KTM designers dont draw up a better bike in the next 5 years! SHEESH!

You will get your KTM VERY SOON BRO! I KNOW IT!

Check with Toti for pre-owned KTM's

believe me bro...i've sat and test drove the bikes above!!!! I am always looming around toti and toti is great and gives me a good deal. i've owned 3 and half ktms already :-) Duke620, Superduke990, 250sx, and the half is my sons 50cc mini-adventure :-). I had to sell all my bikes because my family (and its a big family) went thru some problems with bikes (again)...meaning there were one to many tragic and near tragic incidents involving riding bikes.

The dakar rally up there is owned by an uncle who passed away due to cancer and its available for sale. i have to find other buyers first before i can eventually say that since there is none i will be the one to buy instead...but i have to offer good money for that. so the guys waiting for that thinking they will get a bargain will have me matching their prices if i can.

then theres the superduke - i had a 2006 model and had to sell it because...well i wont go into that now too tragic.

the 250sx was sold prematurely actually...a friend just wanted a dirt bike and i was suppose to get a newer one, was just saving up a bit more to upgrade...but then thatw as overtaken by the events above and all the proceeds from the bikes...went to getting me thru some losses i incurred during the big floods in manila...ONDOY.  i lost 2 other bikes in that flood.

i sold my sons ktm cause he simply lost interest....

thats the story so now i am again starting from scratch. i still have some old bikes in the garage which i am now prepping to sell. when that occurs, i will try get at least one these KTMs :-) the rally is too rare to pass....tahts my ultimate target actually....the other 3 are easy to acquire, you just need the cash. the dakar, is rare and is the only one of its model here in manila.

KTM is working on a new bike consept special made for the Philippines...it has blow up potons on both sides of the bike.
They get automatic blown up when the bike is being wet and a 20 kg anchor is automaticly being thrown out to avoid the bike to drift away...the only drawback is you can not drive in the rain and you better make sure no dog is peeing on the bike...:-P

If I should pic out a favorite bike, I would be totally lost.
4-5 bikes is needed to have the perfect bike consept.

So...here I go...

A SuperDuke R is a must (me, myself and I)...followed up by a Ducati MultiStrada 1200 (for vacation and bringing the better half)...then a KTM 690 Enduro (more me myself and I)...and for riding with the big (beerdrinking) boys, a Suzuki Intruder 1800 R.

Would this make me happy?
Tja...maybe for a while..:-)
